Hi Tom!

I'm using 1.5.8. version. The messages are on a different server than the website. I created the path to the message server. If I click on the loudspeaker icon the play starts correctly, so the path to the media file is likely given correctly. If I click on the download icon, it offers download but after the download only a 0 byte mp3 file is formed. What can be the solution?

Usually this is a server issue. First make sure that the study has a filesize (see if that fixes anything). If that doesn't work, try this:

navigate to joomlaoregon.org/router.php?file=http://...O-FILE&size=SIZE OF FILE IN BYTES

see if that works (and will download the full file)

I've tried through the link you recommended:

but fortunately it didn't work. I added to the path joomlaoregon.org/joomlaoregon/.... íThis way the download of our own media file worked, too. How could I work out that the download work through the Bible Study? The filesize is correctly fixed on the admin site.

can you provide a link to your site, or a url to one of the media files?

Thanks for all your help. I've tried what you recommended but fortunately it doesn't work with the built-in media player the way I want. As you wrote it must be a server issue. I managed to get space on another server so this way it works.
