Joomla Bible Study

Hi All,

I my joomla site was hacked by that h57 bug hacker and I lost my installation. I reinstalled and restored the database but the list of studies do not show up at all. My previous version was joomla 1.5 and I am using data from joomla 1.5 to install in 1.5.7 joomla. what I did to restore my site was:

1. backed up database
2. wiped out joomla 1.5 files
3. installed joomla 1.5.7
4. imported sql data

All works fine except BibleStudy any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Taking a look at your db, do you see tables that start with jos_bsms? Those are the Bible Study tables. If you don't see them then that would be why the component won't work.

check your backup of the db to see if they are there and perhaps for some reason they didn't get imported when you created the new site.

Sorry you got hacked - I hadn't heard about the h57 bug - what is it?

Yes, all jos_bsms tables were present at the time I re-populated the database. still no luck with the study list displaying.

Would you mind contacting me so I can give you some more specific help? It could be as simple as resetting your preferences in the admin backend under Parameters in the Bible study component, then setting them in a menu item that links to the study list view. But I'd be glad to take a look at your site and see if I can help.
