Joomla Bible Study

working on test site for a new ministry using Joomla! 1.5.1 and after installing I tried to enter data such as teacher, server ect. and each time i get this error message Fatal error: Call to undefined method: tableteacheredit->geterrormsg() in /homepages/27/d227775469/htdocs/church2/administrator/components/com_biblestudy/models/teacheredit.php on line 81 any help you could give would be appreciated ... thank you in advance

Most likely the database was not installed. What version of MySQL are you using and what version of Bible Study? I discovered an error in the .sql install file that may have caused an error on pre 4.1 versions of MySQL. Try to download and install the version now up on Joomlacode and see if that makes a difference.

Hello again been away a few days but I tried installing the new version im still getting errors. you are right the database is not being installed, I tried to manually install the install.sql file and it comes up with errors my mysql version is 5.0.32. im running the latest version of joomla i dont know maybe it is my host 1and1.com. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated this is a great script and i really would like to be able to harness it on the site when it goes live.

Centurian - can you send me an email directly - I want you to try an alpha release of Bible Study 1.0 just to see if that works. I too have 1and1 as a host and as long as I use MySQL v 5 I can install the component.
