First of all, great product! We just are beginning to move our messages over to this solution, but there is one thing we wanted to customize/add that doesn't seem available out of the box.

We want to be able to add message/sermon notes to each message/sermon. This would most likely be a PDF or word document that would be attached to each sermon. I tried a few things to no avail, any way that I can do this?

So basically you want to have the PDF content displayed where the study Text normally is. (You don't want to just have a link to the PDF file?)

I know that this component has the option to automatically generates a PDF, however during our message at church we give a handout (like many churches) so that guests can follow along and sometimes fill in the blank. This handout contains images and text and is formatted somewhat unique, so we want to attach that PDF to a message/sermon instead of the auto-generated PDF.

I was thinking along the lines of attaching it similar to the was you attached the audio files, but I can't get that to work with PDFs.

Hope that makes sense....
Thanks in advance, Kyle.

One thing you can do right now is create a new media type - pdf and use the pdf icon or something else. Then in the media record you just connect your pdf file to the study. The pdf link would show up in the media file row - you could call it Study Notes or something. Biblestudy doesn't care what type of media it is connecting to since you are essentially just creating a series of links.

Do you think this option would work for you?

I did try this method, however after downloading the PDF and attempting to open the file I received an error. I don't recall the error, but it was similar to not sure how to read the media type (if I recall correctly).
