Joomla Bible Study

God Bless you Tom and your team for developing Bible Study Extension and for a quick support response.

I have a suggestion for Bible Study Template system, why not make it like Joomla template where the template is done using XHTML where you just create a module position to place the fields used in bible study control panel. With that we can create a table less template like:
<div id="bms_wrapper">
<div id="bms_studyheader_title>{bms_studylist_title}</div>
<div id="bms_teacherimage>{bms_teacherimage}</div>
<div id="bms_teachertitle>{bms_teachertitle}</div>

so on and so forth.....
</div

and the layout positions can be defined in css, I believe if the template is done like this then the designer would not have the limitation where the fields should appear like the current template system. Like I want to show the teacher image in Studies List Layout but the current template does not include it as one of the option then I won't be able to.

Just a suggestion, what do you think? Please let me know if my idea is crazy

I think you'll like version 6.2. Kyle Holder, one of our developers, has created a way for custom code in each view. So you could, I think, do exactly what you propose. You put in the html and then use code words for fields like {{title}}.

Should be out in Febuary or March 2010.

That would be great Tom, can't wait to get my hand on 6.2. So I just have to quit playing around with the listing.php code just to make the Studies listing looked the way I want.
